Owner reached out after posting of my review. My bike was still not fixed. Owner asked me to bring the bike back and it would be repaired correctly at no charge.

Customers should have to be worried about extra work being done without permission. I did pay more than the estimate, but State law does not force me to do so.

The staff is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and eager to help with whatever you need. I bought an advanced Mtn Bike there 9 months ago based on their knowledge and helpful cooperative attitude. Price was competitive also. I've had no reason to regret it. And service. I bring them my two road bikes and two mountain bikes and they do a great job with them. They listen closely to what you say (rare!) and respond specifically to that. The people who own the place work there. This is what all local bike shops should be. They're 25 miles away and I'd still go there if they were 50. Really.

Update***

Helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone uses the stuff they sell and they understand those of us who are weekend or occasional riders. They have a great selection of bikes from huge fat tires to skin road racing bikes. Accessories so kids can customize their bikes and make it more fun to ride. The had colored pedels, hand grips and tires. I even saw a basket. Prices were fair and the service great.

I just relocated to NH from Ontario, Canada and have been trying a few local shops. My first impression of this shop was actually good and they did a decent job on my daughter's bike. Very friendly staff.

Update***

The owner contacted me after reading my review and was very quick to offer a replacement hydration pack at the same price level, which was all I wanted to begin with.

I told him what I thought was wrong with the bike. They replaced the parts and now it rights perfect. Thank you for reaching out. If you have an issue reach out to the owner.

I have been cycling for over 10 years and typically spend at least $500 - $1,000 bucks every season in local bike shops. And I typically buy my bikes locally as well. As I am getting close to update one of my bikes, I will certainly not consider buying it here.

I very much appreciated the fact that he reached out to me directly and made sure I got a brand new replacement item.

I guess that losing a customer over $95 dollars is a good deal for this shop. Very disappointing.

We have agreed to a fresh start and I will certainly continue to shop and service my bikes there so I support our local shops and cycling community.

Charged more than estimate. Parts were changed without permission. Bike cleaning....the bike chain and parts were very dirty. Posting pictures after "cleaning and tune-up" was estimated $150 was charged $285+ manager lowered price and apologized for doing work without permission. I still had to pay more than estimate.

Today I went in there to buy a camelback and I was talked into buying an EVOC HIP Pack Race 3. I bought it for $95 and hated it right from the get go. I didn't ride 300ft and thing would simply slide down to my but and get stuck in the saddle not to mention that it makes for a very awkward mountain bike ride and prevents you from standing in an agile way. I left it in the car and went for my ride. It is simply a bad design.

I stopped at the store later to try to exchange it for the "regular" model like a backpack. I was simply told I can't return it since I used it.

This is a great shop, friendly and well informed. I try to work on my own stuff and have gone in several times when I need help and they are always great regardless of who I talk to. Prices are reasonable and selection is excellent for a relatively small shop.

Owner also explained that bike tune up does not include chain and other parts cleaning. I was not told this at the time of service. Now they replaced the parts so I cannot comment on their $20+? Detail parts cleaning offered.
