In the dozen or so appointments I have had in this office, they have never seen me less than 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment. Withthe typical time spent wait for the doctor to see me while sitting in the exame room to be about 45 minutes or more. Dr Byer is great but you can never get ahold of anyone in the office!
I have since started filing complaints with the AG's Office in Concord of which I sent Dr. BYER's Office a copy. Be aware of your choices.....
I arrived for my appointment on time and was told the Doctor was running about 35 - 40 minutes behind. While getting checked in, I asked the receptionist to check that they were a "Tier 1" provider with my insurance carrier. She checked with another woman in the office and they confirmed that Dr. Byer was in fact a Tier 1. I ended up getting called in within 20 minutes and waited less than 5 minutes for the doctor to come in. Things were looking good so far.... THEN, the doctors whole "meet & greet" time spent with me was 7 minutes. He told me my ears looked great (I have holes in both ears) and said to make a follow-up appointment for 6 months.
I would advise anyone planning on seeking the services of Dr. BYER and his office, to be sure of your insurance, this office doesn't admit to making mistakes.
A few weeks later, I got a bill for over $280.00 due to the insurance stating that this office is NOT a Tier 1 provider. Since that bill arrived, I've been trying for several months to get this cleared up but their office refuses to take any blame for the error and I was told that Dr. BYER told the billing person to pursue the amount due. I admitted that I should have checked with my carrier but THEY ( the Dr's Office) ALSO should know how they get compensated for their work.
