Nice place to get a quick bite, have drinks, and sit outside (if you wish). They have multiple menus (pub, fine dining, specials). Service was good and the food was also good. We had a couple salads, Flatbread, and drinks. Everything was good but seemed overpriced for what it was. If you're staying at the Equinox it's a fine choice, if not may want to explore other options.
Last was dessert and I ordered the donut sundae. The donut was ok, but the dessert took another 20-25 minutes!! My familys ice cream took so long we thought they had to churn it to order.
Definitely worth stoping in, easy parking in back and they totally took care of us party of 5, top shelf drinks decently priced, the apps are so good you almost don't need a dinner in a super quaint atmosphere.
Overall, my food was 2.5 stars, but given the rude hostess and wait time for the food, and the overall quality of the food, I dont think you should visit this place.
A Pleasant Surprise, the soup was fabulous and the fish was was perfectly done. This place is casual with a cozy atmosphere and we were happy with the check. The staff was inviting, we took a look around and the entire grounds were impressive. I signed up for a spa treatment that was a true delight.
Another family member (9 years old) went up to the hostess and asked where the bathroom was. She gave her the dirtiest look and said "why" and proceeded to tell her in a mean tone where it was. She was giving our table looks when we were eating our food the entire time.
Ambiance is beautiful. Overall a pleasant experience. The bread basket that comes with the start is a nice treat. I'm not giving it a 5 star as the food was good but nothing spectacular. Frankly, the food at other nearby restaurants are better but again, the relaxing and cozy atmosphere is wonderful.
When we first walked into the place, I expected a good time, the atmosphere was nice and I liked the setting. Right when we sat down our waitress was helpful and we ordered. The appetizers took 30 minutes. I'm not exaggerating. I got the soft pretzel stick things and there was 3 on the plate. Seriously, this is a pub, the portions should not be so small. Our entrees took at least 40 minutes and again my portions were tiny, there was 2 small crab-cakes, (although they were good). Another person at my table ordered the fondue. it came over a tea light, and there was 3 apple slices and some bread. She said she had had it before, and it was much, much better.
