The kid was cute. The people, while inconsiderate by my way of thinking, seemed nice enough. I don't know what I would actually have expected anyone working there to do, but in the end it ruined my experience.
Only one thing went wrong: in the dining area as we were served our food the half drunk table of 10 next to us decided it was a good idea to encourage the 2 year old at their table to stand on his chair and shout and cheer as loud as possible, as they all laughed, cheered and clapped. This went on for 5 minutes. The manager, hostess, and wait staff all came to the room, and did absolutely nothing. Eventually I spoke up and asked them to please stop so we could finish our dinner in peace. A few of them gave me a dirty look, but they stopped. My wife and two boys and I ate in relative peace.
But the food is good, so there's that. We'll try it again when we visit . Perhaps. Then again, nah.
The food was unfit to eat. The manager was argumentative. The waitress was the worst and she never brought back my change of 3 dollars, so I guess that's how she gets her tips. My wife ordered lobster and it was unfit to eat. While discussing this with the manager a regular patron commented this isn't Maine you should just leave. Do yourself a favor and believe the low rated post about this place. Sub standard bar food.
Excellent food, great assortment of choices. Large portions for a fair price. Highly recommend this restaurant!
The service was extremely poor, had to go to the bar for refills because the server only came back to drop the check. Ordered the lobster and the inside was mushy, black/grey and green. All the food was cold and when we spoke to the manager about the poor service and cold/disgusting food he was condescending and screamed at us saying "the black in the lobster was a sauce". If I could rate lower than one star, I would. Disgusting food, extremely rude staff, and the food was absurdly over priced for garbage.
Always a stop for us when visiting Manchester. Good bar food, beer selection. Lots of big screens for sports fans in the pub or quiet dining in several dining rooms.
