Ambiance nice, sat upstairs out on the patio. Drinks were tasty but weak. Ordered app of curry with goat cheese and eggplant fries, had to request more fries as there was much more dipping sauce than fries. Our meals were delicious....having a burger and my wife having the meatloaf. Dessert was yummy as we split a slice of Ring Ding cake....yum.
Outstanding, we were so impressed with the food. Service was a little slow, however.
We ate at the tavern upstairs, The Other Woman, and loved it. Food was great with a menu beyond just the typical bar offerings. Also there were TVs so we could watch Monday night football in the background if we wanted. We could also see down into the more upscale restaurant below which was a bit of fun people watching. Service was super friendly (Erynn was amazing) and fast and the ambience was upbeat and fun. Prices were not bad at all and we even had dessert. Loved the place so much we each bought a Perfect Wife Restaurant t-shirt before we left. Will definitely come back here next time we visit. Highly recommend!!
The grilled salmon was excellent. The peking duck wrap is not authentic but tastes pretty good all the same. The french onion soup was a little bland. Most of the food was pretty awesome. We came on a busy night and they were a little short staffed.
I'm am writing this concerning the service only since we did not receive any food. The service we received was horrible and if you ever get a waitress wearing a baseball cap, braided pig tails, a sundress and a tattoo on her calf to her ankle, just LEAVE, as fast as you can! We went there this past Friday evening as part of the Manchester Make a Wish run. When we first arrived we asked for waters and our order was taken fairly quickly and we ordered two of the same meals, a salad and Salmon special. Deep in conversation we hadn't realized how much time had passed but I had noticed some folks who arrived after us had already received their meals. We still hadn't gotten a salad after 20 minutes. I was working on my third glass of water in which the manager himself had filled twice. Finally the waitress stops by and says let me check on your meals, this, 25 minutes after taking our orders. Fed up I stop the manager who was clearing the table from the people who came in after us and got their meals. I explained several other who came in afterward were already served and the extensive wait we had and he ran off to check (Never to be Seen Again). FINALLY after 30 minutes as we are leaving the waitress comes out with our salads and says "Sorry about the delay here are your salads". I responded rather harshly "are you F'n kidding me you're just bring our F'n salads now?" Since it was so late and had to get up early to run we just left and went to Subway, meal was OK but the service was better than The NOT so Perfect Wife.
