I called and they did change my room to what they said were remodeled condos but even that was poor. After seeing the gorgeous pictures I would have expected better. Outdated, still smelled a little & not as well kept as the MAIN HOUSE. If you're booking please request the main house, hopefully your experience will be better.
Lovely historic building, with new additions like the great pool and sauna and gym building. Interesting historical photos in rooms and halls. Beautiful views, large clean rooms ( mine was 9+ yards long ) with nice furniture. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent lost and found team (they found my N7!) There is a new hotel nearby made to look a bit like this, but this is a lively hotel and a real piece of history.
Gorgeous location and resort. The walls are very thin though, and you can hear the people staying in the adjacent room as if they were in yours.

Amazing lobby and staff. Checked in after a long drive to be checked into 1811 aka the creepiest place I've ever visited. This place smells and gives off a really bad vibe. I refused to step into the house. Looks like something straight out of a horror movie.
The staff is absolutely incredible. Dwayne, Brownie and the ladies at the front desk are marvelous. Donuts are amazing. The water in the pool needs a bit of refresh but the rest is incredible.
