McIntyre is a great small ski area. It's been perfect and close for my 3 kids to learn how to ski and ski during the week, even through high school. It's great for me to hang out in the lodge yet I know they won't get lost. They'll come in and warm up or eat at the snack bar when hungry.
Great area, especially if you bring along family and friends. However, the experience can become rather quickly repetitive with the lack of many slopes. After a day or two, this area became second nature to me.
We went to what we thought was Octoberfest I guess was more like a food truck festival. (Only 9 food vendors and a beer truck) Paid $5 to get in loved the live band but, the only food we found to be good was the BBQ food truck. Ribs and pulled pork was out of this world. Not sure we will go back next year. And we witnessed a hit and walk away! Red car hit a silver suv family continued to walk away after they got out of their car.
Psia certifications weak. Great for beginners. Terrible 15-16 instructors for advanced levels.
Ski resort popular with local schools. A reputable business.
